Wine & Chocolate Weekend

Vermont winemakers are hosting their 9th annual statewide Wine and Chocolate Weekend on February 8 and 9, 2020 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Wineries around Vermont will open their doors to visitors and feature samples of their wines with a chocolate confection or other sweet treat. Many partner with local chocolatiers to offer homegrown pairings - flavors only found in Vermont.

Visitors can taste the full spectrum of Vermont wines during Wine and Chocolate Weekend. Some wineries specialize in grape wines made from northern grape varieties like Marquette, La Crescent, and Traminette, while others produce black currant cassis, honey mead, ice cider, apple wine, and more!

The participating wineries will be open from on Saturday and Sunday (hours will vary). Visitors can also purchase bottles of the featured wines with accompanying chocolates for Valentine’s Day gifts. Please call ahead to wineries for details about their tastings.

Wine and Chocolate Weekend will also feature a wine tasting event at King Arthur Flour on February 8 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Stop by and get a taste of the Vermont wine scene. You'll be able to sample and purchase bottles of your favorites to take home.

2020 participating wineries include:

Boyden Valley Winery & Spirits | Cambridge

Enjoy a weekend filled with wine, chocolate, discounts, and everything that inspires LOVE at Boyden Valley! You'll get to enjoy wine tastings with chocolate samples from Snowflake Chocolates and Frontenac Brut Rosé mini cupcakes from My Little Cupcake.
