When we nurture and love our whole body, our soul reaps many rewards. Join Hatha Mama Yoga and Artisan Eats for a series of classes dedicated to the whole.

Ayurveda is a traditional Indian medicine, much like yoga, which cultivates a spiritual relationship with food herbs and spices. We will focus on strengthening our connection to the elements, both in and outside of our bodies. In Ayurveda this is known as a dosha.  Each class of the series will consist of yoga practice, with breath work, postures, meditation and essential oils. Followed by a family style meal and tea. We will focus each class on one of the three specific doshas, learning how to increase, decrease and balance our energies. Join us, in connecting to mother Earth with gratitude and mindfulness to cultivate Gaia knowledge.

Class one: Kapha - July 6

Yoga: grounded movement

Food: Cardamom and Ginger infused strawberry smoothie (keifer, kombucha, chia seeds, matcha powder) with a toasted quinoa salad: arugula, cranberries, sunflower seeds and leek pesto.

Class two: Pita - July 13

Yoga: vinyasa

Food: TBD

Class three: Vata - July 20

Yoga: free movement

Food: TBD

Class Four: Combined class - August 3

Yoga: Walking meditation
