This farm is participating in Vermont Open Farm Week 2017!
Tour will include pigs and poultry on pasture, sampling your way through the gardens and the herbs and edible flowers of the orchard understory and getting up close to the 3 Sisters -- our field of corn, beans, and squash grown using traditional Native American companion planting. Farmers will help you sample edible flowers and herbs in our pick-your-own herb garden. And there will there will be a scarecrow workshop, (bring your own shirt and pants, hat optional!) *Please bring clothes warn out clothes no longer useful to people to lessen ecological waste. Stick skeleton will be provided to those who rsvp.
Tours will depart the farmstand on the half-hour (3:30, 4, 4:30, 5 and 5:30). Herb garden and scarecrow workshop will be open continuously from 3:30 - 6. Scarecrows can be taken home or "planted" in the 3 sisters garden to help the maturing corn stay safe from birds!
Cost: $10 per person, $5 12 years and under, infants free
