Craft Cider Makers in Burlington, Vermont, featuring locally sourced apples and never from concentrate. Citizen Cider began with three friends in 2010, a wine salesman, a chemist, and a small farmer. They experimented with hard cider fermented from sweet ciders pressed in the backyard barn and the results quickly found a following. Their rapidly growing business soon included a tasting room on Pine Street. There, visitors can sample the Cellar Series (available only at the tasting room) and seasonal limited releases, along with the flagship ciders. The tasting room also offers a full food menu and cider cocktails, and is available to rent for private parties.
